About the Role
The Change Management & Risk Governance Specialist provides structured governance over change control, risk management, and decision‑support processes across engineering, construction, and project delivery teams. This role ensures that all change events, risk exposures, and mitigation strategies are documented, controlled, and aligned with utility‑grade expectations within EPCM and CMAR frameworks. The position supports enterprise‑level governance, standardization, and compliance across Multi‑Phase's project portfolio.
What You'll Do
- **Change Management Governance:** Maintain disciplined change control processes including logs, impact assessments, approvals, and documentation.
- **Risk Identification & Analysis:** Lead risk workshops, develop risk registers, quantify exposures, and evaluate probability and consequence across engineering and construction scopes.
- **Mitigation Strategy Development:** Develop and track mitigation plans, assign ownership, and monitor effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Cost & Schedule Impact Assessment:** Evaluate change events and risk scenarios for cost, schedule, resource, and contractual impacts.
- **Governance Reporting:** Prepare risk dashboards, change summaries, trend analyses, and governance reports for project leadership and client stakeholders.
- **Cross‑Functional Alignment:** Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and client representatives to ensure alignment on change events and risk mitigation actions.
- **Compliance & Standards:** Ensure change and risk processes comply with SPC, OHS, APEGS, and client‑specific governance requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Identify systemic risks, recurring change drivers, and opportunities to strengthen project delivery performance.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in project risk management, change management, or project controls within industrial or utility environments
- Strong understanding of EPCM and CMAR delivery frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools (risk registers, change logs, dashboards)
- Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to work within structured governance environments and manage multiple concurrent change events.
