About the Role
The Project Document Control Coordinator provides disciplined document governance across engineering, construction, commissioning, and project management teams. This role ensures all project documentation is controlled, traceable, compliant, and delivered according to utility‑grade standards within EPCM and CMAR frameworks.
What You'll Do
- **Document Governance:** Maintain document control procedures, numbering systems, revision control, and distribution matrices.
- **Project Documentation Management:** Manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and construction records.
- **System Administration:** Administer digital document control platforms (SharePoint, Procore, Aconex, or equivalent).
- **Quality & Compliance:** Ensure documentation meets SPC, OHS, APEGS, and client‑specific requirements.
- **Workflow Coordination:** Coordinate reviews, approvals, transmittals, and close‑out packages with engineering and construction teams.
- **Audit & Reporting:** Maintain audit‑ready records and generate document status reports.
- **Interface Management:** Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure timely and accurate document exchange.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or certificate in Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or Document Management
- 3--7 years of document control experience in industrial, utility, or construction environments
- Strong proficiency with document control systems and Microsoft 365
- Understanding of engineering drawings, construction workflows, and project lifecycle documentation
- High accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to work within structured EPCM and CMAR delivery frameworks.
