About the Role
Multi-Phase has an opening for a Senior I&C Engineer to provide advanced technical specialization and leadership across complex regulated utility infrastructure and heavy capital programs. The Senior I&C Engineer provides advanced technical leadership across complex automation, instrumentation, and control system environments. This role oversees engineering teams, validates control architectures, and ensures compliance with Saskatchewan OHS legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility cybersecurity frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Lead development of control network architectures, cybersecurity barriers, and plant communication systems.
- Coordinate FAT activities for complex control nodes and distributed automation systems.
- Supervise automation engineering teams and guide technical workflows.
- Troubleshoot advanced logic faults, communication errors, and system integration issues.
- Develop migration strategies for aging automation assets.
- Interface with senior stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, or Systems focus).
- 10+ years of relevant experience performing automation integration or DCS architecture designs inside major infrastructure or utility capital networks.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Documented knowledge of industrial networking protocols and safety instrumented functions.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and technical English.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
