About the Role
Multi‑Phase is seeking Engineers‑in‑Training (EIT) to support structural analysis, drafting, and field verification within industrial facilities and regulated utility environments. Working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, the role contributes to structural modelling, load calculations, and inspection activities. Strict adherence to Saskatchewan OHS legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility‑grade engineering protocols is required.
What You'll Do
- Assist with development of structural drawings, models, and design sketches.
- Perform basic structural calculations including load analysis, member sizing, and connection design.
- Update structural drawings and details based on design changes and field markups.
- Support field inspections, data collection, and structural condition assessments.
- Participate in field work following Saskatchewan OHS requirements.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with utility configuration control and change‑management protocols.
- Demonstrate professional conduct aligned with APEGS' Code of Ethics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Registered, or eligible for immediate registration, as an EIT with APEGS.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and technical English.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
