About the Role
Multi-Phase is seeking motivated Engineers-in-Training (EIT) to join our electrical team embedded within major industrial infrastructure networks and regulated utility capital programs. This entry‑level role supports electrical engineering activities within industrial facilities and regulated utility environments. Working under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, the Electrical EIT contributes to system modelling, asset modification packages, and field verification tasks. The position requires strict adherence to Saskatchewan safety legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility‑grade engineering protocols. The role blends analytical design work with structured field exposure to ensure competency development consistent with APEGS' progression expectations.
What You'll Do
- Develop preliminary cable tray routing concepts, equipment layouts, and spatial coordination sketches.
- Perform basic electrical calculations including voltage drop, feeder sizing, and load analysis under supervision.
- Update single‑line diagrams, grounding plans, and wiring schematics to reflect design changes and field markups.
- Support asset tracking programs by compiling cable data, equipment metadata, and configuration records.
- Participate in field walkdowns, ensuring compliance with provincial OHS regulations and internal safety procedures.
- Maintain engineering documentation in accordance with utility configuration control and change‑management requirements.
- Demonstrate professional conduct aligned with APEGS' Code of Ethics and Saskatchewan's engineering practice guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Registered, or eligible for immediate registration, as an EIT with APEGS.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance as applicable.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
