About the Role
Multi‑Phase has an opening for a Senior Process / Industrial Systems Engineer to provide advanced technical leadership across complex industrial and utility‑regulated capital programs. This role oversees process engineering teams, validates high‑risk system designs, and ensures compliance with provincial legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility engineering governance.
What You'll Do
- Lead development of advanced process models, optimization studies, and system reliability assessments.
- Review and approve process design packages including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
- Oversee major process upgrades for industrial plants and utility facilities.
- Provide technical mentorship to Engineers‑in‑Training and intermediate engineers.
- Direct commissioning activities and resolve complex process system failures.
- Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan OHS legislation, industrial process codes, and internal quality systems.
- Interface with senior stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial process systems or utility process programs.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Strong proficiency with process modelling platforms (e.g., Aspen, HYSYS).
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and technical English.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
