About the Role
Multi-Phase is seeking motivated Engineers-in-Training (EIT) to join our instrumentation & controls team embedded within major industrial facilities and regulated utility capital programs. The I&C Engineer‑in‑Training supports instrumentation and automation engineering activities within industrial facilities and regulated utility environments. Working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, the role contributes to loop checks, control logic updates, and field verification tasks. The position requires strict adherence to Saskatchewan OHS legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility‑grade safety protocols.
What You'll Do
- Input sensor parameters, device ranges, and calibration data into project I/O databases.
- Assist engineers during wiring verification, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
- Update logic diagrams, instrument templates, and installation drawings based on field markups.
- Maintain cabinet layouts, terminal diagrams, and configuration records.
- Participate in field work following Saskatchewan OHS requirements.
- Support documentation control and configuration management.
- Demonstrate professional conduct aligned with APEGS' Code of Ethics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or Systems Engineering.
- Registered, or eligible for immediate registration, as an EIT with APEGS.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and technical English.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
