About the Role
Multi‑Phase is seeking an industry‑recognized technical authority to serve as Principal Civil Engineer supporting major industrial and utility capital programs. This senior role provides strategic engineering governance, establishes civil design standards, and validates complex civil infrastructure designs across large‑scale projects. The position requires mastery of geotechnical integration, site development, drainage systems, and regulatory compliance consistent with Saskatchewan utility standards.
What You'll Do
- Establish corporate civil engineering standards, site development criteria, and foundation design frameworks.
- Author system‑wide civil reliability strategies and long‑term site development plans.
- Assess risk profiles for aging civil assets including foundations, drainage systems, and earthworks.
- Perform final technical validation of external engineering submissions.
- Provide functional leadership over senior engineers, guiding advanced competency development.
- Lead strategic civil engineering reviews for major capital investments.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
- 20+ years of distinguished engineering experience within industrial or utility civil systems.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Recognized expertise in geotechnical integration, site development, and civil infrastructure reliability.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance as applicable.
- Willingness to complete required site‑access safety orientations in accordance with Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
