About the Role
Multi‑Phase is recruiting a professional Civil Engineer to execute responsible, varied engineering assignments independently within industrial facilities and regulated utility environments. Engineer performs site development, grading, drainage, and foundation design work in accordance with APEGS regulatory requirements. The role supports major capital projects involving earthworks, structural foundations, site access roads, and utility‑scale civil infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Develop civil design packages including grading plans, drainage systems, foundations, and site layouts.
- Perform civil calculations including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, and stormwater management.
- Review vendor drawings, geotechnical reports, and construction submissions for compliance and suitability.
- Prepare procurement specifications and technical evaluation criteria for civil construction packages.
- Apply professional engineering stamps in accordance with APEGS requirements and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct field verification, site inspections, and construction support to ensure installed works match engineered intent.
- Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan OHS legislation, CSA civil standards, and utility civil engineering requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5 to 10 years of professional civil design experience in industrial or utility environments.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles, CSA civil standards, and industrial site development practices.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance as applicable.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
