About the Role
Multi‑Phase has an opening for a Senior Civil Engineer to provide advanced technical specialization and leadership across complex industrial and utility‑regulated capital programs. This role oversees civil engineering teams, validates high‑risk civil designs, and ensures compliance with provincial legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility engineering governance. The position requires deep expertise in site development, geotechnical integration, drainage systems, and foundation engineering.
What You'll Do
- Lead civil engineering studies including slope stability, settlement analysis, drainage modelling, and foundation evaluations.
- Review and approve civil design packages for site development, foundations, access roads, and drainage systems.
- Oversee major civil upgrades for industrial plants and utility facilities.
- Provide technical mentorship to Engineers‑in‑Training and intermediate engineers.
- Direct construction inspections, commissioning activities, and resolution of complex civil issues.
- Ensure engineering work adheres to Saskatchewan OHS legislation, CSA civil codes, and internal quality systems.
- Interface with senior stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized post‑secondary institution.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial civil systems or utility civil programs.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Strong proficiency with civil analysis platforms (e.g., GeoStudio, Civil3D).
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance as applicable.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
