About the Role
Multi‑Phase has an opening for a Senior Structural Engineer to provide advanced technical leadership across complex industrial and utility‑regulated capital programs. This role oversees structural engineering teams, validates high‑risk structural designs, and ensures compliance with provincial legislation, APEGS practice standards, and utility engineering governance.
What You'll Do
- Lead structural analysis including finite element modelling, stability assessments, and seismic evaluations.
- Review and approve structural design packages for steel, concrete, foundations, and industrial structures.
- Oversee major structural upgrades for industrial plants and utility facilities.
- Provide technical mentorship to Engineers‑in‑Training and intermediate engineers.
- Direct construction inspections, commissioning activities, and resolution of complex structural issues.
- Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan OHS legislation, CSA structural codes, and internal quality systems.
- Interface with senior stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial or utility structural systems.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Strong proficiency with structural analysis platforms (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, ANSYS).
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and technical English.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
