About the Role
Multi‑Phase is recruiting a professional Structural Engineer to execute responsible, varied engineering assignments independently within industrial and utility‑regulated environments. This role is responsible for structural design, analysis, and technical review of steel, concrete, and foundation systems in accordance with APEGS regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop structural designs for steel frames, concrete structures, foundations, and industrial supports.
- Perform structural analysis including load calculations, finite element modelling, and stability assessments.
- Review vendor drawings, structural calculations, and construction submissions for compliance and suitability.
- Prepare procurement specifications and technical evaluation criteria for structural packages.
- Apply professional engineering stamps in accordance with APEGS requirements.
- Conduct field inspections, structural condition assessments, and commissioning support.
- Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan OHS legislation, CSA structural codes, and utility structural standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of professional structural design experience.
- Fully registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS.
- Strong knowledge of CSA structural codes, industrial steel/concrete design, and foundation engineering.
- Mandatory Criminal Record Check or Site Access Security Clearance.
- Completion of Fall Arrest and Confined Space Entry/Rescue training, as required for field access under Saskatchewan OHS Regulations.
- CSA‑certified 6‑inch steel‑toed safety boots.
